Evidence Based Birth® believes that every person has their own unique path. Instead of focusing on medicated vs. unmedicated birth, we focus on giving you tools and helping you learn the evidence, so that you can be empowered to make your own decisions! We do have a strong emphasis on non-drug comfort measures, because they have no side effects and can be used by everyone, whether or not you plan to use medications.
At the end of this class, my goal is that you have the ability to communicate your goals and expectations for your birth experience to the collaborative team working to support you. Being heard, respected and empowered in your choices.
To ensure a personalized experience, each session is limited to a maximum of six families (six seats). To secure your seat, please make payment as soon as possible.

Meeting start date example:
First Tuesday, February 4th starting at 6:00PM EST and subsequent Tuesdays totaling 4 virtual meetings.
Virtual Meeting 1 : Discussion of EBB® Childbirth Class Orientation online material and Birth timeline activity. (2 hour)
Virtual Meeting 2 - Covering online material and discussion questions for Weeks 1 and 2 of the online learning modules. (2 hours)
Virtual Meeting 3 - Covering online material and discussion questions for Weeks 3 and 4 of the online learning modules. (2 hours)
Virtual Meeting 4 - discussion of online material from Week 5, practical walk through birth timeline, discussion of Postpartum care for family and newborn. (2 hours)
If for any reason, you are unable to attend one virtual meeting, please communicate that at our first meeting. We will schedule one alternative 20-minute session, one on one with the instructor.

This flipped-classroom model includes 5 modules of online learning to watch at your own pace paired with mentorship from Bridget, your EBB Instructor. Mentorship includes four classes with Terry and classmates to prepare for the labor process and practice your labor skills.
This class is limited to only 6 families.
